With over 20 years in the Food and Beverage industry, Colin is one of the few industry experts who has held Senior Roles in both the Alcohol FMCG sector as well as in the Hospitality industry.
Before settling into his current role as Founding Owner of several bars, Colin was with DIAGEO PLC for 12 years. During his time with Diageo, he held several senior roles within the company including Regional Commercial Head for Diageo’s Reserve Business in Asia Pacific which is centered around planning and leading the Commercial and Customer platforms for the RESERVE BRANDS Portfolio.
Prior to that, Colin was appointed Head of World Class APAC and tasked to create and turn Diageo Reserve World Class Platform into the most sought-after bartender’s competition/ program in Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining Diageo, Colin honed his hospitality / bartending skills and provided consultancy services for established F&B brands such as The Emerald Hill Group and The Starwood Hotels.
A multi-award-winning bartender, Colin has also completed with distinctions in the Wine and Spirits Education Trust Course (WSET) Advance Course in United Kingdom. Colin is now an Educator for WSET Sprits Level 1 and Level 2 Course.
Colin left Diageo in 2017 to expand his own lifestyle and hospitality business and now owns 5 bars including venues like Nutmeg & Clove (Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2016, 2017), #FindTheLockerRoom & #FindThePhotoBooth Bangkok (Thailand Best New Bar 2018 Recipient). Colin also co-founded Bangkok Bar show in 2019.
In 2018, Singapore Bar Awards panel awarded Colin with the prestigious Luminary Award to recognise his valuable contributions to the Singapore Bar Industry for the past 20 years.
Despite graduating from The National University of Singapore in Business Administration with Honours, Jayden did not follow the traditional career path of most of her peers. Instead, she followed her passion in the world of coffee and cocktails.
Jayden started her bartending experience with Sugarhall Rum and Cocktail Bar. It was here where she learns the foundation of bartending and also the knowledge of cocktails. In 2018, Jayden joined the opening team of Fancy as their Senior Bartender. In her role with Fancy, she also managed the Marketing Strategy putting her Marketing Degree to great use.
Her open mindedness and willingness to learn attitude was instrumental in her quick advancement in the bar industry. As a testament to her talents, she was appointed by Diageo as their Singapore Brand Ambassador for the year of 2018.
Henry joined Nutmeg & Clove from award winning Bar Mood, Taipei. Under the tutorage of the Legendary Nick Wu, Henry has made a name for himself as making delicious Japanese Style Classic Cocktails.
Henry was one of the Grand Finalist in World Class Taiwan 2019 and also came in 3rd in Remy Martin Barrel Aging Competition 2020.
Shuen joined Nutmeg & Clove from Antidote Bar and was the protégé of Global World Class 2019 Champion Bannie Kang. Known for her genuine hospitality and a beautiful smile, Shuen never fails in making our guests happy.
Despite having only startedbartending in 2018, Shuen has already enjoying some success in the competition front including winning Monin Cup and a Top 5 Finalist at Glenfiddich Most Imaginative Competition.
